Committed to provide easy access to modern banking services at places of public importance in the region, J&K Bank today commissioned an Automated Teller Machine (ATM)installed within the premises of District Court Complex, Jammu. With this commissioning, the total number of ATMs of the bank in the country has increased to 1350.
Chief Justice, J&K High Court, Justice Gita Mittal inaugurated the ATM in presence of Justice Rajesh Bindal, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Sindhu Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director J&K Bank R K Chhibber, Bank’s Zonal Head Jammu Central – I Sunit Kumar, other judicial officers, judges of the District Court and other senior officials from the Bank
Appreciating the role of J&K Bank in improving the lives of people irrespective of their location and status Chief Justice, Justice Gita Mittal extended her gratitude to the bank’s leadership for commissioning the ATM within the premises that she said will enable the staff of the high court and the daily visitors round the clock access to a range of banking services.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman & Managing Director said, “Implementing the bank’s expansion policy, we shall continue to extend our digital and other service network to every place of public importance in the region.J&K Bank made every effort to provide convenience to the general public by ensuring smooth functioning of its ATM network despite recent disturbance, especially in the valley, which was very much appreciated by the general public”, adding that bank remained committed to provide state-of-the-art banking services and tailor-made products to the people of the region and beyond.”
