The J&K Board of School Education has successfully concluded the process of Secondary School Examination (Class 10th), Session Annual, Regular, 2019 Winter Zone of Jammu Division with the declaration of its result today. Spread over 277 Examination centres, 24008 candidates appeared in the said examination, out of which 12736 were boys (50.28%) and 11272 were girls (51.05). In total 12158 (50.64%) candidates have qualified the said examination.
While expressing satisfaction over the timely declaration of the result, Prof. Veena Pandita, Chairperson, JKBOSE said that the successful students have defeated the challenges posed by harsh climate and tough terrains to prove their worth. She also expressed her gratefulness to the School Education Dept., entire divisional and district level administrative machinery, Secretary JKBOSE , whole team of the officers and officials of JKBOSE Jammu Division and teachers who have directly or indirectly contributed immensely for the flawless conduct of examination followed by timely declaration of results.“ It is heartening to see that girls have again outnumbered boys. I congratulate the successful candidates and those who could not make it this time, they shall work with more zeal and confidence to achieve success in the next opportunity provided to them”, she added.
In order to facilitate the access of students to the result gazettes, the JKBOSE authorities have made adequate arrangements through various media. The result is available online on the official website of JKBOSE www.jkbose.ac.in and on www.indiaresults.com as well. The candidates can also avail SMS facility by sending the text message to 5676750 by typing jkbose10 followed by a space and then Roll No. e.g., “ jkbose10 Roll No.”. The result is also available in the offices of the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned districts for the convenience of the students and general public.
