All morning incoming and outgoing flights were cancelled on Thursday due to heavy snowfall at Srinagar International Airport during the night.
However, air traffic is likely to resume in the afternoon as visibility is so far good and snow clearance operation on runway was going on, an official of airport said today.
Air traffic had resumed only on Tuesday afternoon after remaining suspended for two days in the valley due to bad weather. However, on Wednesday all incoming and outgoing flights were cancelled.
”No flight has so far landed or taken off at Srinagar airport today,” he said.
He said air traffic is likely to resume in the afternoon as visibility is good. Last month, air traffic at Srinagar airport was suspended due to fog and poor visibility for about 12 days.
