Continuing the drive to provide more & better development facilities to the people of Jammu city, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Sh Chander Mohan Gupta today 16/12/2019 conducted an intensive tour of ward no.33 Shiv nagar, Rajpura mangotrian etc. A large number of inhabitants of ward were present during the tour. Mayor inaugurated the start of construction work of lanes in street no 4-D popularly known as Mandir Wali Gali at Shiv Nagar alongwith Sh Surinder Choudhary Hon’ble Councilor ward no.29, Sh. keshav Chopra, Sh. Karan Sharma, Sh. Ved Sharma, Sh. Balwan Singh, Sh. Satpal Khajuria, Sh. Balwinder, Sh. Kushant , Sh. Atul bakshi which was the long pending demands of the public and inhabitants of the area especially school going children & old people were facing acute hardships due to dilapidated condition of the lane and as large number of people from adjoining areas visits this famous temple on daily basis and regular Satsang as well Bhandaras are being organized in this temple by the inhabitants and mandir committee members. Engineering wing of JMC, concerned contractor were directed by the mayor to complete the said work on merits, with quality material & upto the expectations of people. The amount worth Rs.5.59 lacs for the said work has been given by Sh. Jugal kishore ji Hon’ble Member Parliament Jammu. Mayor also told the gathering that more development works in ward no.33 as well as in other wards are being undertaken by the JMC on priority basis. Moreover the solid waste management project, Modern Goshalla at Nagorta, installation of beautiful foundations in 19 parks of the city as well as other development activities has been expedited by Jammu Municipal Corporation and more steps have been taken in making Jammu Smart city and also appeal to the general public not to use single used plastic, polythene and donot throw garbage, mulba etc in the public drains , lanes and nallahs and put the liquid and dry garbage separately give it to the area Safaikaramchari on daily basis and also pay regular user charges to the JMC
